Responsibilities Work in a 78-bed general hospital setting Labor & Delivery unit with Couplet Care, Attendance at all deliveries, Low Risk Antepartum, and Transition Nursery responsibilities Occasional floating to Med / Surg or Senior Behavioral Health units as helping hands without patient assignment, rotating 2 hours at a time Day shifts from 6 : 45 AM to 7 : 15 PM with every other weekend and some on-call requirements Main responsibilities include Couplet Care, attending all deliveries, and caring for antepartum and transition nursery patients Team members occasionally assist in Med / Surg or Senior Behavioral Health units as support staff Weekend and on-call shifts are required as part of the work schedule Professional references from previous managers are required for consideration Local candidates within 60 miles are accepted at a reduced rate Returning employees may require an eligibility review process Requirements Active CT RN license required Current AHA certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification required Minimum of 2 years LDRP experience required Preferred certifications : C-EFM and STABLE All certifications must be current; if expiring, proof of renewal must be provided Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-614757.
