Position Description

Construction Management firm is seeking qualified Senior Project Engineer with Educational Facility experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the planning, organizing, directing, coordinating and reviewing project management activities including design and construction of new and modernization projects.
• Support resolving complex, construction project related issues, disputes, and disagreements.
• Follow and successfully execute program Quality Management System.
• Report and collaborate with District management on all project matters.
• Review and develop contract documents in coordination with others.
• Identify risk and create risk mitigation plans successfully.
• Document and report all project data accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist with creating and present project data clearly to multiple stakeholder groups.
• Coordinate budget and schedule information with the Project Management team.
• Successfully close out and certify projects to include DSA closeout and PMO / District closeout.
• Evaluate, assess, process and manage change orders and professional services requests in a timely manner.
• Track project status and provide management reports relative to overall program and construction project delivery schedules.
• Track status and provide management reports related to scheduling, cost control, staffing and other related construction contract requirements.
• Review and inspect construction site offices to assess performance and adherence to legal requirements.
• Review recommended actions in resolving disputes related to construction projects.
• Assist in outreach efforts to provide information about education projects.
• Performs other support related duties as assigned.
