Data Entry Clerk

We are seeking a motivated Data Entry Clerk to assist with tracking procurements for a large infrastructure project in Los Angeles. Must have strong Excel skills. Responsibilities include :

• Prepare source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting procurement items.
• Process vendor documents by reviewing data for deficiencies and resolve discrepancies by using standard procedures or returning incomplete documents to the team leader for resolution.
• Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
• Filing and other light administrative duties as needed.
• Some knowledge of contract or labor compliance is helpful but not required.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Clerk Typist background a plus.
