We are looking for a Laboratory Technician to join our NAF team in Freeport, TX.

As a key member of the Freeport Laboratory Services Team, this position plays a critical role in supporting the operational excellence and product integrity of the Polyamide-6 plant. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for executing quality assurance protocols and analytical testing to ensure that all materials and finished products meet established specifications and regulatory standards. This role is also vital in supporting new product development and trials.

During your shift as a Laboratory Technician, you will

Performing routine and non-routine laboratory analyses on raw materials, in-process samples, and final products using standardized methods and instrumentation.

Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of test results in compliance with quality management systems and regulatory requirements.

Calibrating, maintaining, and troubleshooting laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance and data reliability.

Collaborating with production, engineering, and quality teams to uphold product quality and process consistency.

Participating in continuous improvement initiatives related to laboratory operations, safety, and data integrity.

Assisting in operation & testing required for new product development and plant trials.

If you...

Have a High School Diploma or GED.

Possess over 1 year of laboratory experience in a polymer manufacturing environment.

Have high standards of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail. As well as being highly organized, flexible, and capable of adapting to priority changes on a regular basis.

Possess good mechanical aptitude.

Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Have experience with laboratory instrumentation such as : titrators, GCs, HPLCs, and TOCs.
