Summary :

This position is responsible for the daily operation, optimization and maintenance of assigned oil and gas processing equipment, including the identification and repair of problems or potential problems, documentation, and production reporting.

Responsibilities :

• Operate and monitor wells, tanks, pumps, and other production equipment.
• Measure production levels and recommend modifications for efficiency and cost reduction.
• Generate ideas for production optimization.
• Conduct daily inspections of production sites to ensure safety and effective equipment operation.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including equipment checks, lubrication, and repairs.
• Troubleshoot problems individually and make necessary repairs or adjustments.
• Complete accurate and timely production reports (daily volumes, pressures, and equipment performance).
• Follow safe operating practices and ensure compliance with company policies, Safety & Regulatory requirements.
• Encourage Near Miss Reporting, JSA reviews, Stop Work Authority, LOTO and SOP procedures.
• Prepares oil tanks for sale of product, contacts dispatch on both oil and water loads to ensure produced fluids are taken from the lease sites in a timely manner.
• Conducts inspections as required to ensure compliance with WOGCC, WOSLI, BLM, OSHA, and Wyoming DEQ.
• Participates in route reviews to share knowledge of wells and facilities with Foreman, Engineering, and other operational teams.
• Builds positive public image through daily landowner interaction.
• Able to perform other duties, to include coverage for Foremen and training of entry level Operators.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience :

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Process or Maintenance Tech degree preferred.
• A minimum of 10 years related oil / gas experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required .

Schedule and Structure :

• jade owls provides flexibility in scheduling of personnel.
• 8 days on, 6 days off schedule

Travel Requirements :

• Travel required to the jade owls field locations.
• Main field office locations are in Upton, Wyoming and Rozet, Wyoming.

• Working in ambient temperatures of -40F to 100F.
• Work in all weather conditions including rain, snow, mud, etc. work is performed in hazardous driving and working conditions all season of the year.

• Work locations are within a 2-hour drive of Gillette, Wyoming.
• Job requires working alone for >

80% of time.

• Exposure to hazardous facilities including moving equipment and H2S environments.

Base Pay Range : $70,000 - $90,000.

• Pay is salary.
• Bonus is provided based upon base pay.
