I&E Technician
Summary :
We are looking for a knowledgeable and safety-focused Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) Technician at Pneumatech. This position is responsible for installing, calibrating, troubleshooting, and maintaining instrumentation and electrical systems critical to production, processing, and safety.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Learn and adhere to Pneumatechs safety policies and procedures
- Provide a solid understanding and application experience with gas and liquid measurement concepts and knowledge of API and AGA standards.
- Working knowledge of ABB Totalflow EFM's and PCCU software, ROC, and other PLC programs
- Knowledge of various types of meters (turbine, Coriolis, orifice, etc..)
- Troubleshoot and implement corrective actions on measurement equipment
- Evaluate piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID), process flow diagrams to ensure industry and regulated standards for process measurement can be made
- Perform configurations and be able to troubleshoot instrumentation to include the following : pressure, temperature, and level instruments
- Witness testing and calibration of 3rd party meters.
- Collect gas samples.
- Maintain typical pipeline equipment, basic measurement equipment, valves, etc.
- Must complete applicable reporting and documentation of key operating parameters and input accurately into Pneumatechs CRM system
- Installing tubing and instrumentation / safety systems
- Perform routine pneumatic maintenance repairs on assigned system equipment and facilities
- Perform diagnostic and repair work on pneumatic systems
- Perform a variety of duties including installing, disassembling, inspecting repairing, and replacing defective parts on a variety of pneumatic equipment and facilities
- Schedule and perform routine maintenance checks
- Must be able to test following industry standards procedures and meet customer requirements
- Must be able to complete all paperwork and input accurate data in CRM provided by Pneumatech
- Must have people skills and task prioritizing skills.
- Other tasks as assigned by supervisor and management
Key Essential Qualifications :
Possess and maintain a valid driver's license to include a safe driving record satisfactory to the company.The ability to work well with others and effectively communicate in a team environment to accomplish customer and team goals.Strong work ethic and ability to operate with minimal supervision.Proficient computer skills.Ability to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and able to respond to call outs.Ability to work away from home on scheduled rotations as needed.Education, Experience and Skills Required :
Minimum of 1 year of work-related experience or related technical college educationMinimum High School Diploma or EquivalentMust speak write and read English fluently.Must pass pre-employment drug screening and is subject to random drug testing.Must be capable of physical duties in outdoor environment.Job Type : Full-time
