Talent Acquisition Hiring Coordinator role at Fortrex
What You Will Do
The TA Hiring Coordinator will lead the end-to-end hiring solutions for the assigned location(s). You will be the go-to person for hiring tactics, candidate engagement, and compliance, connecting the people of your community with a career to support their future. Job duties include :
- Maintain an organized and welcoming hiring space for new and current team members.
- Implement full lifecycle hiring : reviewing applications, sourcing, screening, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding.
- Complete new hire paperwork and verify documentation (e.g., Form I-9) for eligibility to work in the U.S.
- Ensure consistent application of policies, procedures, recruiting, hiring, and onboarding activities.
- Conduct professional interviews to determine the right fit.
- Extend compliant and inviting job offers to candidates who fit the role.
- Educate new hires on company policies and procedures.
- Lead local compliance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
- Support plant leadership with staffing, hiring, and HR compliance needs.
- Support offboarding and crossboarding activities as needed.
- Prepare and communicate status updates for weekly meetings with HR Recruiting Supervisor and Operations Partners; provide additional updates as needed.
- Distribute and implement company changes; maintain various leadership reports.
- Build and maintain community partnerships to enhance brand awareness and serve as sourcing avenues for candidates.
- Review hiring metrics and apply staffing best practices for continuous improvement.
- Perform other duties and projects as needed.
Your Must Haves
Must be 18 years of age or older.High School Diploma or GED.Proficient in HR systems and Microsoft Office Suite.Minimum 1 year of experience in the hiring process (Recruiter, Sourcer, HR, Hiring Manager, etc.).Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills.Valid and active US Driver's License.Ability to travel with own transportation in assigned territory.What We Prefer You Have

This position may be based out of a local hiring office with a traditional office setting or in a Food Production Plant that includes hot / cold, wet / dry environments requiring PPE. Some travel is required to support grassroots recruiting and networking in the community (driving to multiple opportunities in the market you support).
