Job description

Work closely with the management team to oversee daily operations during weekend brunch and dinner shifts only.

  • Supervise front-line staff during weekend shifts (brunch and dinner) to ensure efficient operations
  • Conduct and / or attend pre-shift meetings.
  • Handle guest complaints in a personal and timely manner.
  • Manage opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and reports
  • Abide by and uphold company policies, and standards as well as state sanitation / health regulations.
  • Coordinate with kitchen, bar, or support staff to maintain service standards

Requirements :

  • A minimum of three years of experience working as front-of-house / floor manager in a fast-paced, high volume, restaurant.
  • Strong knowledge of service points, food, wine, and spirits, and the ability to train staff in all areas.
  • Ability to work independently and make quick, effective decisions
  • Proven ability to motivate and manage staff.
  • Availability to work Saturdays and Sundays (and occasional holidays)
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills, and the ability to multitask.
  • Experience with Japanese ingredients is a plus
  • Knowledge of Toast is strongly preferred
