Job Summary

Health Source Group, a trusted pioneer in the healthcare industry, is currently seeking a compassionate, qualified, and dedicated school nurse.

As a Physical Therapist, you will assess health needs, implement care plans, and advocate for students’ well-being.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES AS A SCHOOL PHYSICAL THERAPIST :

• Services will include, but will not be limited, to the following : Physical therapy services, treatment sessions, evaluations, consultations, meetings and screenings.
• Assess students' physical abilities and develop personalized therapy plans
• Implement therapeutic interventions to enhance mobility, strength, and coordination
• Collaborate with educators, healthcare professionals, and families to support student success
• Monitor and document student progress and adjust treatment strategies as needed
• Promote a safe and accessible school environment for students with physical impairments
• Provide training and recommendations to school staff and caregivers
• Advocate for students' participation and accommodations in school activities

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :

New York State License to practice as a Licensed Physical Therapist

Certification or authorization to work in New York schools

Successful completion of criminal background check and fingerprinting Preferred
