Laboratory Technician

Job Title: Laboratory Technician

Type: Contract - 6 Months

Pay: $31.00/hr

Location: Santa Monica, CA

Shift/Working hours: Sunday-Thursday from 8:00AM-4:30PM with flexibility to work overtime as needed.

We are seeking a Lab Tech - I for a very important client.

Perform environmental monitoring of cleanrooms including surface, viable air, non-viable air, and personnel monitoring (including gowning in clean rooms grade A, B,C and D, or ISO 5, ISO 7, ISO 8.).
Collect water samples to ensure all sample collected per schedule and tested on time
Perform and review microbiological assays such as Gram Stain, Endotoxin, Sterility, Microbial Identification, Growth Promotion, Bioburden and Plate Reading
Data entry and data trend as needed.
Assist in investigations regarding out of specifications (OOS) results, address and manage deviations related to micro procedures.
Routine maintenance of lab equipment and lab spaces
Review and approve final product release test results
Coordinates waste management, LEAN and 5S efforts as required.
Additional duties as assigned.
These duties can be delegated to designated deputies of a satisfactory qualification level as needed.
