- In conjunction with station management and other operating groups, this position is responsible for coordinating all phases of domestic and / or international projects, including new and seasonal station openings, new aircraft types entering stations for the first time, terminal moves, small scale back office refresh projects and other ad hoc projects as directed.
- Also responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time and on budget. Project management includes requirements definition, business case development, status reporting and implementation.
- This role is a part of the Airport Performance and Support Team within our Airport Readiness group.
What You'll Do
Coordinates new station start-ups and closuresPlans, directs and coordinates activities for multiple projects in a fast paced environmentWorks with station leadership to coordinate all aspects of Customer Experience projectsSupports station leadership by communicating and ensuring project timelines and budgets are metConducts project meetings, completes project tracking / analysis and reports issues and risks to leadership and business ownersCoordinates closely with various departments including Marketing, Sales, Legal, HR, Corporate Real Estate, Government Affairs, Tech Ops, Security, In-Flight, IT and FinanceAnticipates problems, identifies issues and drives resolution to challenges that may impact project completion or timelineConducts airport site visits to assess conditions, infrastructure and customer journeyAssist in preparation of business case justifications for resources required to complete projectsCoordinates with Finance to accrue for expected project costsAll You'll Need For Success
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience / training3 years of airline experienceFamiliarity with airport operationsPreferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
Project Management certificationExperience managing facility related projectsSkills, Licenses & Certifications
