Job Details
Qualifications
46+ years of experience practicing as a trusts and estates attorney
Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school
Admission to the Connecticut Bar (required)
Experience drafting complex estate planning documents, including various trust structures
Strong knowledge of estate, gift, and fiduciary income tax laws
Experience representing fiduciaries and beneficiaries in probate court
Familiarity with estate and trust tax returns is required
Skills and Attributes
Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Attention to detail and high standards of performance
Professional, collaborative, and client-focused demeanor
Ability to manage competing priorities effectively
Military experience is welcomed and valued
Billing Requirement
Minimum of 1,800 billable hours annually
