Amherst is seeking a Marketing Automation Lead to design, execute, and optimize automated marketing programs across email, mobile, and onsite channels via Marketing Cloud Engagement. This role will own the end-to-end management of marketing automation systems, ensuring that campaigns are personalized, data-driven, and scalablenurturing prospects and residents from lead generation through renewal.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and lead the strategy for automation programs that onboard, nurture, convert, and drive resident loyalty / advocacy.
• Partner with Growth Marketing and internal stakeholders to translate business requirements into actionable journeys and automations.
• Oversee audience segmentation strategies using lifecycle stage, behavioral signals, and geographic insights.
• Partner with Brand Marketing to customize creative and messaging for segment-specific campaigns that drive measurable action.
• Manage A / B and multivariate testing to optimize engagement, conversion, and deliverability.
• Ensure rigorous QA for email rendering, deliverability, and automation workflows.
• Own reporting on campaign and journey performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Maintain compliance with CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and opt-in regulations; enforce list hygiene best practices.
