Job description

Overview

Allied Universal is now hiring Part-time Access Control and Foot Patrol Security Officers for a high-profile site at the Omaha World Herald Building in Downtown Omaha.

Position Details :

  • Pay Rate : $18.80 per hour
  • Part-time schedule : Monday - Friday, 2 : 00 pm - 6 : 00 pm
  • Weekly Pay and DailyPay options available
  • Overtime pay available

Job duties : Monitor and control building access points, conduct regular foot patrols to ensure safety and security, respond to incidents and emergencies promptly and professionally while providing a high level of customer service to employees, visitors, and clients.

    Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by client site
  • Monitor closed-circuit television systems and alarms
  • Monitor and operate facility computer systems regularly, as assigned
  • Handle security issues or emergencies appropriately; contact Emergency Services (e.g., EMT, Fire Department) as needed

    • Minimum Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
  • Background check as a condition of employment in accordance with federal, state, and local laws
  • Drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state / local laws and may be required prior to employment
  • A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only
