Role Overview
The Branch Surety Client Service Manager II is accountable for delivering high quality and efficient service to both internal and external clients through the day-to-day account management of an assigned group of accounts within a Branch that consistently meets or exceeds CSO revenue benchmark expectations. This role reports directly into the Regional Client Service Supervisor. The Branch Client Service Manager II directly contributes to key business outcomes such as client retention, client satisfaction, enhancing Gallagher's value to our clients and prospects, achieving operating / margin targets and fostering a culture of performance and continuous improvement.
How You'll Make An Impact
Client Service : Handle daily client bond requests and all actions involved with Bond products. Daily communications with clients in collaboration with the Producer(s). Be proactive and anticipate the needs of the client and the Producer(s) while providing exceptional service.
Technical : Read financial statements. Understand construction bid requirements and specifications. Maintain current knowledge & demonstrate efficient use of Gallagher's client management systems resulting in compliance with service level standard. Timely management of correspondence as required by department, including email and document management system. Electronic file maintenance, issuance of surety bonds including bid, performance & payment, maintenance, commercial and renewal.
Marketing & Negotiating : Build and maintain relationships with surety underwriters by creating professional and complete submissions. Maintain knowledge of markets and carrier appetite. Exhibit skills necessary to negotiate desirable outcomes by anticipating carrier perspective.
About You
Required : Bachelor's degree with 3+ years client service and / or claims management experience -OR- High School degree / GED with 8+ years client service and / or claims management experience. Producer's License. Ability to travel up to 25% of the time. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Valid Property & Casualty insurance license. Previous experience in account management or client service within an insurance agency or brokerage. 3+ years experience, relating to Bonds specifically. Strong verbal and written skills including the ability to present and express surety concepts to non-industry personnel. Ability to shift focus and manage time in order to prioritize work load and to meet time sensitive deadlines.
Preferred : Previous insurance knowledge and experience managing client relationships. Solid financial acumen. Ability to read financial statements, preferred. Understanding of construction bid requirements and specifications.
