HHA (Home Health Aide) - Needed

Home Health Aide (HHA)

Maxim Healthcare Services is hiring for a Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide personal care services, as necessary, to meet the patient's needs.

Responsibilities :

• Assisting patient with and per plan of care, including baths, oral hygiene, dressing and undressing, toileting activities, and feeding.
• Taking and recording oral, rectal, and axillary temperatures, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure when ordered.
• Safe transfer and ambulation techniques.
• Exercise according to the plan of care.
• Performing range of motion and other simple procedures as an extensional therapy service as ordered.
• Patient's laundry.
• Meeting safety needs of patients and using equipment safely and properly.
• Observation and teaching of home safety practices.
• Recognition of an emergency situation and knowledge of emergency management procedures.
• Must follow patients plan of care and complete all tasks assigned.
• Communicates in a constant, clear, and effective way with the client, family / caregiver, and office.
• Observes and documents patient condition and reports any changes to the assigned nurse supervisor.
