Quality Control Inspector - Rough Rice

Supreme Rice is looking for a Quality Control Inspector in our Rough Rice department in Mermentau. This position grades rice and inspects product for quality and food safety issues.

Must have good attention to detail , familiarity with computers and able to work in a dusty environment. This position typically works 7am to 4 : 30pm M-F and some Saturdays. (During harvest 7-5 and 7 days a week)

Duties

• Inspect product, weigh, sample and grade grain with good attention to detail and in a neat and organized way
• Ability to read charts
• Report all food safety issues to supervisor to initiate action
