Job Description\n

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with 2 years of MRI experience and ARRT (R)(MR) certification for a 13-week travel assignment.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in an MRI department using GE equipment and PACS system
  • Day shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week from 8 : 00 AM to 8 : 00 PM
  • Weekend coverage required every third weekend
  • Potential to float to neighboring campuses within the same health system
  • No on-call requirement
  • First-time travelers will be considered for this assignment
  • Modules are completed during orientation, with specific time guidelines for billability
  • Black scrubs are required
  • RTO must be requested at time of application
  • A 50-mile radius rule applies for local candidate eligibility
  • Travelers must complete required lab work within 48 hours of signing

  • Active NJ state radiologic technologist license required if applicable
  • ARRT (R) and ARRT (MR) certifications required
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Minimum of 2 years recent experience in MRI
  • Experience with GE MRI equipment and PACS system preferred
  • PA Fingerprinting required prior to start
  • Submission of valid references and copies of certifications required for consideration
