Position Summary :

The Procurement Category Manager – MRO (Maintenance, Operations, and Repair) is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies for all maintenance and operational materials, spare parts, tools, and services that support Hailiang Copper Texas Inc.’s production facilities. This role ensures reliable plant uptime and cost-effective supply of critical equipment and services. The Category Manager partners closely with Maintenance, Engineering, and Production teams to optimize supplier performance, reduce total cost of ownership, and improve supply chain efficiency.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Category Strategy & Development

• Define and execute sourcing strategies for MRO categories including spare parts, lubricants, bearings, fasteners, tools, PPE, and industrial services.
• Analyze MRO spend and supplier performance to identify opportunities for consolidation, standardization, and cost reduction.
• Develop and maintain a preferred supplier portfolio aligned with reliability, safety, and cost objectives.
