  • Provide assessment, triage, and therapeutic management of patient / family needs as a key member of an interdisciplinary team.\n
  • Collaborate with attending physicians in compliance with state law, hospital regulations, and clinical pathways, providing team-based care.\n
  • Obtain medical histories, perform physical examinations, review and order diagnostic tests, and formulate treatment plans.\n
  • Educate patients and families about care procedures, treatment plans, and available resources in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.\n
  • Offer psychosocial support to patients, their families, and significant others in a caring, ethical, and professional manner.\n\nQualifications\n
  • Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.\n
  • Critical care experience is preferred, but motivated new graduates with relevant exposure and preparation will be considered.\n
  • Possess an active, unrestricted CT medical license or be in the process of obtaining one.\n
  • Hold ACLS / BLS Certification (as needed).\n
