Schedule : 3 weeks in December, 2 weekends per month January - March

Shift : 7a-7a, call

Scope of practice :

• On-call to help cover service after hours and on weekends
• Rounding on inpatients

Volumes : 2 inpatient consults per day

EMR : EPIC

Hospital : 60-63 beds to start (73 bed capability); 8 bed ICU (20 bed capacity); 8 ETC beds

Group / support : CRNA / MDA on call 24 / 7, 1 other VS

Requirements (boards) : BC Thoracic Surgery, CA license, CA DEA
