The Opportunity

OBHG OB / GYN Hospitalists are the in-house experts whose ability to handle any obstetric emergency dramatically improves patient safety and satisfaction.

This opportunity involves working collaboratively with local obstetricians to ensure that every pregnant woman who presents to the hospital is cared for by an experienced physician every time. We are seeking OB / GYNs with exceptional clinical and communication skills, a passion for healthcare quality improvement, and a desire to shape the future of our specialty.

The Medical Center at Bowling Green currently sees approximately 2,800 annual deliveries and 3,200 annual unscheduled outpatient visits.

OBHG’s program will enhance patient access, increase birthing volume, attract new physicians and improve collaboration with local clinics. OBHG’s physicians will work alongside the hospital’s residents.

St. Joseph East Hospital

St. Joseph East Hospital in Lexington, KY is a 217-bed community facility. Its Women's Hospital opened in 2010 and is dedicated to the health of women in central and eastern Kentucky. The facility is 60,000 square feet on three floors and includes patient- and family-centric design with lounge, play and education areas for the whole family. It has 12 labor and delivery rooms, three dedicated Cesarean section rooms and a 16-bay level II neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).
