Senior Manager, Contract Strategy And Pricing
The Senior Manager, Contract Strategy And Pricing will be the primary analytical support for the Contract Strategy Team, responsible for leading the development of robust deal analytics, competitive contracting scenarios, contract performance analytics, and ad-hoc market access analytical support, partnering closely with the Contract Strategy leads. They support pricing execution and contract strategy development, prepare analyses and provide support for adhering to pricing policies, rebate programs, and contractual terms for all IDNs, GPOs, payers, and other established and prospective accounts and channels. In addition, they will assist the market access account management teams with customer calls, volume adherence management, and inline growth identification. This position will maintain sales and contractual data as well as developing key critical reports and dashboards to manage performance regarding business unit pricing and sales.
A Typical Day Includes :
Support contract strategy development, including leading and developing extensive analysis of competitive payer and provider contracting scenarios.
Assist in the evaluation and development of innovative contracting approaches such as portfolio, risk-based and outcomes / value-based contracting.
Prepare pricing and contracting scenarios utilizing established models for the purposes of developing and analyzing account proposals.
Develops and maintains various reports; quarterly reports, monthly price / sales tracker, compliance tracker, outstanding offer tracker, new launch grids, etc.
Develop specific account knowledge and understanding of contractual terms and actual performance for all Institutional customers.
Knowledge and understanding of departmental data, business metrics and operational processes.
Lead Pricing Review Committee agenda and materials development within Regeneron.
Develop, maintain and disseminate contract performance dashboards and key trending reports.
Analyze contracted product performance and communicate account performance / compliance to awarded / forecasted expectations.
Extract data from various databases using Business Intelligence tools and manipulate data to create meaningful insights for use in decision making.
Assists in meeting preparation as it relates to Sales data and Customer opportunities.
Assist in the development of standard business review templates as well as ad-hoc requests.
Support ad-hoc analytic projects related to Price Increases, ASP, GTN, other Government pricing implications as needed.
Conduct Pricing Research and Analysis to support and evaluate in-line brand pricing strategy, potential changes to in-line products due to indication changes and / or market.
To Be Considered, You Must Possess :
Bachelor's degree with a focus in Marketing, Business Administration, Science or Pharmacy, Accounting / Finance preferred. Solid understanding of the U.S. Healthcare environment required. 7+ years of experience in US Pharma / biotech / healthcare industry, with experience in sales, financial analysis, contracting, and / or pricing preferred. Advanced computer skills using MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio / Power Point), Ability to prepare, analyze and interpret data and reporting (internal and external) required, strong communication both oral and written, ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from cross-functional partners.
