Executes daily tasks in a high-volume data center environment, escalating issues as needed. Works independently using process knowledge and sound judgment to complete tasks. Manages incoming and outgoing deliveries, including equipment receiving and rack movements. Maintains accurate inventory records, performs audits, and ensures compliance with regulatory standards. Handles shipping, receiving, and inventory control, including staging and tracking of assets. Performs secure destruction of data-bearing devices following documented procedures. Collaborates across teams to meet project timelines and communicates status updates to stakeholders. Coordinates vendor activities in alignment with defined scopes of work.
Requirements : High School Diploma and 1+ year of experience in IT-related warehouse, inventory, or logistics roles. Basic proficiency with office productivity tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, documents). Prior data center experience is a plus.
Skills : Data center operations, cabling : punch-downs, terminations, fiber / copper installation, rack and stack hardware deployment, inventory and asset management, ticketing systems, troubleshooting and component replacement, logistics and warehouse support, data-bearing device handling and audits, server repair and maintenance, power cycling and RMA coordination, software / firmware installation, cable staging, labeling, and connectivity troubleshooting, fiber link cleaning and quality control.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
