BayCare is seeking experienced patient care technicians to join our staffing resource office float team. Must be comfortable floating to multiple hospitals / units in region 2 which includes the following facilities : St. Joseph's Main, St Joseph's North, St Joseph's South and Wesley Chapel Hospitals.

Summary : Provides direct patient care under the direction and supervision of an RN or LPN.

Minimum Qualifications :

• Required Certification includes Basic Life Support from American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Military Training Network.
• Minimum requirements include 6 months acute care experience or 1-year Skilled Nursing Facility experience; or completion of Nursing Fundamentals from a Nursing Program; or EMT certification / Paramedic license for ER only.
• Preferred - 1 year - Hospital in related field.

Education equivalent experience :

Facility : BayCare Health System, Staffing Resource Office-Float Team (multiple hospitals) Region 2 includes :

Location : Region 2 mostly Hillsborough County

Status : Pool, Exempt : No

Shift Hours : 6 : 45pm-7 : 15am

Weekend Work : Occasional

On Call : No
