Manufacturing Planner

Position Summary :

Provide planning, scheduling, transactional buying support to Paragon, coordinating and monitoring the production and inventory requirements through the manufacturing processes in order to support overall demand.

Description of Duties :

• Coordinate with manufacturing engineers to translate comprehensive production plans into factory travelers in adherence to AS9100 standards utilizing MRP software (E2).
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure timely and efficient execution of manufacturing process releases and approvals.
• Coordinate with procurement to ensure availability of required materials and resources in accordance with drawing and instructional Bill of Materials.
• Analyze production scheduled releases, identify potential bottlenecks, and notify the production scheduler for optimized workflow, and to inform Make vs Buy decisions.
• Ensure compliance with AS9100 quality management system throughout the manufacturing process based on quality flow down requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering and design teams to interpret technical specifications and incorporate them into production plans.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production efficiency and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation of production plans, schedules, and changes.
• Continuously improve planning processes to enhance overall efficiency and reduce lead times.
• Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices to uphold AS9100 certification.
