Requirements :

  • 2 years recent RRT experience (first-timers not accepted)
  • Certifications : RRT / CRTT, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, CA License
  • Pediatric / Neonatal experience preferred
  • Experience with Puritan Bennett, Avea, SVN, BiPAP, Bubble CPAP, High Flow

Skills / Procedures :

Ventilator management : BiPAP, CPAP, troubleshooting high pressure alarms, weaning

Airway management & suctioning : oral / nasal airway, tracheostomy care, extubation

Pulmonary hygiene & nebulizer therapy

Medication delivery : albuterol, atrovent, combivent, inhaled nitric oxide, ketamine, tobramycin, and more

Basic EKG & ABG interpretation
