Job Description

As a Principal Engineer within our R&D organization, you will lead the processes and strategies for the design, development, and testing of cutting-edge systems and technologies for DER and power distribution applications. Your role will focus on developing a technology roadmap, benchmarking technologies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation in energy, power distribution, and power conversion solutions. You will also establish partnerships with external suppliers and communicate results to stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, Chemical); advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in system design, architecture, testing, or integration of energy technologies.
• Strong understanding of renewable energy systems, grid integration, and related regulatory standards.
• Experience with modeling tools like Matlab / Simulink, Amesim, etc., is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Travel : 5-10%
• Work Schedule : 7 AM - 5 PM, Monday-Friday; overtime may be required.
