Job Description
Under general supervision, the Medical Assistant II Lead performs a variety of routine administrative, clerical and technical supportive services to assist medical and nursing staff in the examination and treatment of patients.
The Medical Assistant II Lead functions as both a Clinic Assistant and a Medical Assistant for a designated practice. Works under the clinical supervision of a licensed physician or as delegated by the physician for patient care activities, and under the general direction of the designated manager.

The MA Assistant II Lead serves as the team leader, assists the Practice Manager in monitoring daily duties, patient flow, assisting with projects, train new staff and provide orientation of Medical and Clinical Assistants including providing feedback / guidance to staff. This position requires oversight from management and ongoing communication / guidance on a regular basis.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Education : High School diploma or equivalent. Completion of all requirements in a recognized Medical Assistant training program.
Experience : Three (3) years of directly related work experience.
Licensure / Certification : Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
Must obtain certification from an accredited Medical Assistant Program from one of the following - Within one (1) year of placement in MA II Lead position : California Certifying Board of Medical Assistants (CCBMA), American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), American Medical Certification Association (AMCA), National Healthcare Association (NHA), or American Medical Technologists Certification (AMT)

Pay Range
Compensation is based on the level and requirements of the role.
Salary within our ranges may also be determined by your education, experience, knowledge, skills, location, and abilities, as required by the role, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
Typically, new team members join at the minimum to mid salary range.
Minimum to Midpoint Range (Hourly) : $29.18 to $35.01
