Shipping Associate

Our client, a leading logistics provider, is seeking a Shipping Associate to join their team. As a Shipping Associate, you will be part of the operations department supporting the shipping and receiving team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a team player mentality, and a commitment to excellence which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title : Shipping Associate Location : Allen, TX Pay Range : $18-21 / hr Shift : Monday to Thursday 5am-3 : 30pm plus overtime as needed

What's the Job?

  • Verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments using SAP.
  • Prepare items for shipment, including assembling, addressing, stamping, and shipping merchandise or material.
  • Receive, unpack, verify, and record incoming / outgoing merchandise or material.
  • Arrange for the transportation of products.
  • Maintain a strong attendance history and demonstrate an above-and-beyond mentality.

What's Needed?

  • Prior shipping experience required.
  • Knowledge of FedEx, DHL, and UPS shipping processes.
  • Warehouse experience is required.
  • Basic computer knowledge, including SAP or equivalent systems.
  • Proficiency in Excel and strong attention to detail.
