Pediatric Sedation & Liaison Nurse

This position is Sign-On Bonus Eligible.

Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital is currently seeking a Pediatric Sedation / Liaison Nurse. This position is primarily responsible for the coordinating, scheduling, monitoring and recovering the pediatric patient who receives procedural sedation / anesthesia for a procedure or test. This does include pediatric in- and out-patients when necessary. The Pediatric Sedation / Liaison Nurse will also assure a seamless pediatric experience wherever the procedures take place. Other duties (not exclusive) are : Resource for IV insertion, assisting with temporary nursing management of acutely ill pediatric / picu patients, and assisting with procedural nursing skills.
