Neurosurgery NP Inpatient Role (7 On / 7 Off)

Coverage : 100% Inpatient Floor (No OR / No Call)

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) with a strong background in neurosurgery to join our inpatient neurosurgical team. This role is strictly non-operative , focusing on the management of neurosurgical inpatients , including post-operative care and neurocritical care .

Key Responsibilities :

Provide care to neurosurgical inpatients with varying acuity.

Manage patients in the MICU, SICU, and ED settings.

Collaborate with a team of 7 neurosurgeons .

Handle a case mix of cranial and spinal patients, typically ranging from 50 / 50 to variable splits based on surgical volume and patient needs.

Qualifications :

Must have extensive experience in neurosurgery , including inpatient management, post-op care, and ICU-level acuity.

Neurocritical care experience is required .

Strong clinical decision-making, autonomy, and teamwork skills are essential.

Additional Details : No call requirement.

No OR coverage this is a floor-only position.
