Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Instrument and Electrical (I&E) Technician to join our manufacturing facility. This role is vital in maintaining and optimizing the plant's instrumentation and electrical systems to ensure continuous, efficient, and safe production. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of electrical equipment and control systems to minimize downtime and support production goals. We are excited to welcome you as our newest Instrument and Electrical Technician within Maintenance!

Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, and maintain process control instruments (temperature, pressure, flow, level, etc.).
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical equipment including motors, starters, control panels, transformers, lighting, and power distribution systems up to [480V / 600V].
• Analyze and resolve issues with PLCs, VFDs, and other automated control systems to restore operations quickly.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on instrumentation and electrical equipment to prevent unexpected failures.
• Assist with electrical and instrumentation upgrades, system installations, and plant shutdowns.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, P&IDs, and technical manuals to effectively troubleshoot and repair.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and calibrations.
• Ensure all work complies with company safety policies and regulatory standards (NEC, NFPA, OSHA).
