Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cath Lab RN for a travel assignment requiring a compact or KY RN license and strong cardiac procedure expertise.

Responsibilities

Work in a hospital-based Cardiac Cath Lab setting

Patient population consists of individuals undergoing cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures

Shifts are 7 : 00 am to 7 : 30 pm

On-call is required as part of the schedule

Participation in emergency and on-call assignments is required

All RNs must complete CPI training, which can be done onsite

Candidates with 3 months or more of work history gaps must provide written explanations

Scrub or dress code requirements will be provided prior to start

First time travelers are accepted for this assignment

Requirements

Active KY or compact RN license in good standing

Minimum of 2 years of recent cardiac cath lab RN experience

Current AHA certifications required, including BLS and ACLS

NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required prior to start

CPI training is required and may be completed onsite

Must be fully vaccinated for Flu and COVID-19

Candidates with any infractions ('hits') on their license will not be considered

No local candidates within a 50-mile radius are eligible
