About The Position

Job Title : Respiratory Therapist

Hours per Shift : 12 hours

Experience : Minimum 2 years of experience required

License : Required state license prior to submittal

Certifications :

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• NRP (if working in NICU)

Must-Have :

Description :

Rotating or straight night shifts available.

Shifts are 12 hours long.

Every other weekend and applicable holidays are required.

Candidates must have experience caring for pediatric and neonatal critical care patients.

Support will be provided on the unit by a Charge RT and a Respiratory Clinical Specialist available 24 / 7.

Charting is conducted using an electronic health record system.

Ventilator types include Draeger V500, Savina 300, and Hamilton C1.

Additional equipment includes blood gas machines and high flow devices.

Floating will occur for respiratory therapy coverage throughout the hospital and emergency department.

Call requirements may apply based on facility needs and events.

Working on holidays that fall within contract dates is expected.

Approval for time off is limited to 7 days, with no requests during specified busy periods.
