Off-Road Electric Vehicle Technician (experience required)

Essential Functions and Responsibilities :

• Assemble mechanical sub-assemblies including steering, suspension and drivetrain
• Assemble and test electrical subassemblies
• Perform service on customer vehicles
• Keep workstations and shop areas clean and clutter-free
• Report to the head of production on all issues or needs such as supplies or parts

Qualifications :

• High school diploma or GED (Technical certifications, associates or bachelors degree preferred)
• Experience with hand and power tools including wrenches, cordless drills, reamers, calipers, etc.
• Experience with electrical assembly and troubleshooting
• Experience with bicycle maintenance preferred

Job Type : Full-time

Pay : $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours : 32 – 40 per week

Schedule :

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute / relocate :

• Mars Hill, NC 28754 : Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience :

• Mechanical Assembly : 1 year (Preferred)
• Electronics Assembly : 1 year (Preferred)
