Ability to analyze complex data and present findings clearly in both written and verbal formats.
Senior Financial Analyst
Prestigious global law firm is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to develop accurate budgets and forecasts, track performance, and provide insights to guide strategic decision-making.
Although this is a remote position, the candidate must live in the Austin area to be able to attend periodic meetings.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting, planning, and decision support.
- Lead assigned areas in the annual budget and periodic forecasting processes.
- Analyze historical data, market trends, and key business drivers to inform budget assumptions.
- Review budgets and forecasts for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with organizational goals.
- Conduct variance analyses, prepare reports, and highlight key findings and recommendations.
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes related to budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Manage special projects that support leadership decision-making.
- Test financial systems and reporting tools as needed.
