Job description

Data Analyst – Shared Services (Compliance & Operations)

Location : Hybrid – Berkeley Heights, NJ

JCW is partnering with an established wholesale insurance group seeking a Data Analyst to join their Shared Services team. This individual will support compliance, tax reporting, and data integrity initiatives across multiple program business units.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams and business executives to analyze and visualize data that supports strategic decision-making.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports in Power BI and Excel, turning raw data into meaningful business insights.
  • Conduct SQL-based data queries, validation, and cleansing to ensure reporting accuracy and consistency across systems.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of professional experience in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and Power BI; experience creating dashboards and visual reports.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and partner with senior business stakeholders.
