Nurse Practitioner - Neurosurgery (Hiring Immediately)

MUST have 3-5 years of experience!

Position Summary :

The Nurse Practitioner (NP) will function as an independent healthcare provider working collaboratively with physicians and other members of a multidisciplinary health care team, to provide comprehensive care in a variety of settings (primary, acute, specialty) while demonstrating a high degree of clinical expertise. Provides direct individualized patient care and treatment with responsibility for assessing, examining, diagnosing and analyzing the patient's current health condition and developing short and long-term goals and treatment plans. Functions within the defined scope of clinical practice as outlined by applicable state law, licensing, certification, regulations, institutional policy and practice agreements.

Minimum Qualifications :

• Masters Degree in Nursing or Doctorate of Nursing Practice Degree
• Graduate of an accredited nurse practitioner program in specialty
• Montana Licensure (APRN) with Prescriptive Authority
• Montana Licensure (Registered Nurse)
• DEA License if applicable to practice area
• National board certification as NP in applicable specialty
• American Heart Association BLS
• Two years of Registered Nurse Experience
• Preferred : Additional training or certification in relevant specialty
• Preferred : 2 years of Nurse Practitioner experience in relevant specialty
