Programmer / Analyst III - Hybrid

Genesis10 is seeking a Data Warehouse ETL Developer Lead​. This is a 6-month contract position with a client located in Columbus, OH.

This role pays $55.00-70.00 / HR W2 based on experience.

Description :

As a Lead Developer, you will design, develop, maintain and enhance code ensuring all IT SDLC processes are documented and practiced, working closely with multiple technology teams across the enterprise. Key technologies include AWS EC2 / Glue, Snowflake, Python and IBM DataStage.

Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, enhance and maintain code following best practices and standards.
• Translate requirements and data mapping documents to a technical design.
• Create and execute unit test plans. Support regression and system testing efforts.
• Debug and problem solve issues found during testing and / or production.
• Communicate status, issues and blockers with project team.
• Support continuous improvement by identifying and solving opportunities.
• Maintain and demonstrate knowledge of technical industry trends.
• Mentor and train junior level developers on team.
• Serve as project leader for specific projects.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Modifies existing software / application programs, which are typically more complex in nature, or writes new programs to support user and management needs.
• Designs, tests, debugs, documents, and implements those programs. Consults with users to design, modify, and explain program changes or to provide technical support.
• Resolves problems which occur in production systems.
• May serve as project leader in the development of automated systems or procedures.
• Provides direction and training to other team members.
