The job of HVAC technician was established for the purpose / s of providing HVAC services with specific responsibility for identifying repair and / or replacement needs; installing, maintaining, and upgrading HVAC systems and equipment; assisiting other skilled trades; and ensuring that tools and materials are available at the job site.

High school diploma or equivalent with an industry certification in HVAC and targeted job related education that meets organization prerequisites reqirements. Job related experience with increasing levels of responsibility is desired. A minimum of 2-3 years HVAC experience.
