In this position, you will maintain and repair essential building systems, including mechanical, plumbing, electrical, fire safety, and HVAC. Your efforts will ensure compliance with safety codes and energy efficiency standards at a large industrial lab facility in Santa Rosa, CA.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Perform maintenance and repair work on mechanical, plumbing, structural, fire, life safety, and control systems to meet assigned standards.
Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and company directives related to building operations and safety.
Maintain an effective energy management program to maximize the efficiency of all systems.
Support the implementation of a preventive maintenance program to extend the life of building systems and perform emergency repairs as required.
Adhere to safety protocols for the storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials, while maintaining a neat and safe work environment.
Conduct inspections of building systems including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing to ensure they operate within design capabilities and meet client-prescribed environmental conditions.
Utilize advanced technical knowledge to solve complex problems, mentor colleagues, and promote collaboration aligned with CBRE's core values.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
A High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma is required, along with 4-5 years of relevant work experience. Universal CFC certification is preferred, along with any necessary local or state certifications / licenses. Supervisory experience is a plus.
Must meet physical requirements of the job, including the ability to lift and carry loads of 50 lbs or more, and perform tasks that involve stooping, standing, walking, and climbing.
Ability to make informed judgments based on the evaluation of various information sources.
A willingness to approach existing solutions from a fresh perspective.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and familiarity with CMMS is preferred.
Strong organizational skills and an analytical mindset.
Basic math skills capable of handling percentages, fractions, and other financial calculations.
