Responsibilities Work in a Long Term Care (LTC) unit within a healthcare facility Patient ratios include 1 RN per hall, med tech per hall; CNAs cover 1 : 8-10 during days and 1 : 20 overnight Both rehab and general long term care cases managed, with IV, PICC, and wound care tasks preferred Day shifts available (either 5x8s 6 : 30-15 : 00 or 4x12s 6 : 30-19 : 00) Float required within the facility as needed Every other weekend coverage required First-time travelers are welcome to apply Must not live within a 60-mile radius of the facility; local candidates are not eligible Participation in emergency or natural disaster response activities may be required during assignment Holiday RTO limited to one holiday if multiple fall during assignment Modules for orientation are provided and tracked via Kronos, up to 8 hours billable Dress code and scrub color details provided during orientation COVID-19 vaccination is not required for this assignment Requirements Active WI or compact RN license required Minimum of 2 years' experience in long term care nursing required Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Experience with bedside shift reporting (BSSR), use of AIDET, and hourly rounding required Preference for candidates with rehab, IV, PICC, and wound care experience Two professional references required, one must be from a supervisor Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-629386.
