Clinical Shift Schedule : Monday Friday, 6 : 30a 3 : 30p (late shifts until 5 : 30p or 7 : 30p as needed)
On-Call Shift Schedule : Weekdays 7p 7 : 30a; Weekends 7a 7a (can be split into 12-hour shifts)
Call Type : In-House
Call Ratio : As scheduled (rotating)
Call Response Time : Immediate (in-house presence)

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

General Anesthesia (Adult and Pediatric healthy peds only)

OB and Neuro Anesthesia

Supervision of CRNAs and occasional solo cases

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Licenses : Active Pennsylvania medical license (IMLC considered)

Board : Board Certified or Eligible (within 3 years of residency)

DEA : Active DEA Certification

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS

Experience : Minimum 1 year in specialty

Other Qualifications : Must be comfortable with General Cases, OB, and Pediatrics

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide anesthesia services for a wide range of surgical cases, including general, neuro, OB, and ortho

Supervise CRNAs while occasionally performing cases independently

Take weekday and weekend in-house call shifts as needed

Collaborate with surgical teams and intensivists for perioperative care

Document all anesthesia-related procedures accurately in Cerner EMR
