As a Security Professional Government Patrol Unarmed in Talladega, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with visitors and staff, and deliver exceptional customer service while responding to security-related situations. Pay Rate : $14.34 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTime Thur 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM Fri 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM Sat 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM Sun 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for government locations.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.

Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a visible presence.

Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and activities during assigned shifts.

Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and / or contractors, providing assistance and information as required.

Follow all Allied Universal and client-specific guidelines, adapting to the unique requirements of government locations.

What We're Looking For :

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements :

Experience with access control systems and / or badge processes is preferred.

Experience with alarm panels is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
