Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Level III NICU position requiring BLS, NRP, and a compact or MD RN license.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
  • Rotating 12-hour shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM
  • Every other weekend required
  • Care for premature and critically ill newborns, including those with complex diagnoses such as pulmonary hypertension, gastroschisis, omphalocele, esophageal atresia, meningomyelocele, hydrocephalus, and congenital cardiac abnormalities
  • Active fetal therapy program
  • Uses Epic EMR system; Epic experience required
  • No on-call responsibilities
  • Holiday coverage as needed
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to neonates with varying levels of acuity
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a high-acuity NICU setting
  • Follow standard rotation for weekend and holiday work
  • All local and non-local candidates are eligible for consideration unless specified otherwise
  • Scrub or dress code details will be provided upon assignment

  • Active MD or compact RN license
  • Current certifications in BLS, NRP, and STABLE required
  • Minimum three years of Level III NICU experience required
  • Experience in facilities with 500+ bed capacity required
  • Epic charting experience required
