Job description

Find your calling at Mercy! Responsible for providing skilled nursing services to patients in their homes under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. Must assess, plan, implement and evaluate patients' needs and care. Position Details : Minimum Qualifications : Licensure : Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program; Consideration will be given for comparable education experience and successful licensure. Is personally responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current LPN license within the hiring state in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all State Board of Nursing requirements. Must be licensed driver. Experience : 1 year of experience Certification(s) : CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) Preferred Qualifications : Certification(s) : NOTE : one or more of the certifications below may be required based on the position / unit hired to, or acquisition of certification within department required timeframe :

  • IV Certification within 1 year of hire
  • Other unit-specific certifications as required. Physical Requirements :
  • Position requires the ability to push, pull, and / or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
  • Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
  • Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties. Why Mercy?
