CASA of Southern Maryland's mission is is to provide every child in Southern Maryland (Charles, Calvert and St. Mary's Counties) who has experienced abuse and / or neglect with a trained volunteer to collaborate and advocate in the best interest of the child to ensure that every child has a safe and permanent home in which they can thrive.

CASA volunteers are individuals from all walks of life, from a variety of professional, educational and ethnic backgrounds. No special experience, education or background is required; only the desire to help our community’s children and families.
