Responsibilities Work in an Operating Room setting treating a range of surgical patients including neuro, trauma, ortho, and robotics cases Day shift, 3x12 hour shifts from 0700 to 1930 On-call required 1-2 times per week Monday through Thursday, beginning after scheduled shift Two weekend call shifts required every 6 weeks, starting Friday evening through Monday morning Care for COVID-19 patients as needed Uses Epic for charting and documentation Position may involve caring for patients with COVID-19 Candidates must be able to work one of two major upcoming holidays; no time off will be approved around Christmas and New Year's The facility maintains a tobacco and fragrance-free environment Pre-employment modules (5-6 hours) must be completed prior to start Holiday coverage involves being on call as needed per department requirements Requirements Active PA or compact RN license required with no license action or restriction Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC required Minimum of 2 years of OR nursing experience Experience with neuro, trauma, orthopedics, and robotics procedures required Familiarity and experience with Epic charting required First-time travelers will not be considered for this role Must be able to respond to call within 30 minutes Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-639803.
