The Compliance Analyst will be responsible for supporting Employment Heros AML / CTF compliance function by conducting client onboarding reviews, client enhanced due diligence, monitoring transactional activity, and assisting in the development of procedural documentation and internal controls. This position is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to compliance monitoring and risk assessment. / ppYour key focus areas will be : / pulliAssist in client identification and verification during onboarding using our internal tools. / liliConduct enhanced due diligence (EDD) as required for clients, document EDD and escalate issues when necessary. / liliInvestigate flagged client behavior and assess potential AML / CTF risks. / liliReview daily flagged transactions to identify unusual or suspicious activity. / liliAssist in transaction monitoring (TM) efforts to ensure compliance with regulatory obligations. / liliConduct background checks on clients and counterparties to assess risk levels. / liliDocument findings and escalate concerns to senior compliance personnel when needed. / liliWork closely with cross-functional teams, including CX (and other customer facing teams), Finance, and Product, to ensure alignment with compliance requirements. / liliStay informed on evolving AML / CTF regulations, ministerial directives, and industry best practices. / liliProvide support during internal audits, regulatory examinations, and mock audits. / liliRecommend improvements to existing compliance processes based on emerging risks and trends. / li / ulpTo thrive at Employment Hero, youll need to embody The EH Way - operating with focus, agility, and an obsession with impact. For this role, youll also bring : / pulliBackground in Finance, Business, Law, Criminology, or a related field. / lili1-3 years of experience in compliance, AML investigations, or financial crime risk management. / liliFamiliarity with Canadian AML / CTF regulations (PCMLTFA) and related compliance frameworks. / liliExperience with Persona, ComplyAdvantage, or other compliance tools is a plus. / liliStrong analytical and investigative skills with an ability to interpret complex data. / liliExcellent written and verbal communication skills. / liliHigh attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. / li / ulpAt Employment Hero, we dont just talk about a better way to work - we live it.
